Owyhee Tavern is a new restaurant and bar anchoring the corner of the historic Owyhee Hotel, in Boise, Idaho, completed in 2016. The restaurant is a 5,000 square foot, split level space with a seating capacity of 190. The dining room occupies the upper, more secluded level. The bar occupies the glassy street corner. The two spaces are unified by a custom designed glowing ceiling made of back-lit, metallic painted fins housing 10,000 linear feet of LED tape.
Working in collaboration with The Architects Office as the architect of record, Beebe Skidmore provided comprehensive interior design including: space planning, booth and bar design, seating specifications, lighting, materials and furniture selection, architectural detailing and signage design.
